My 30-second video is a visual interpretation of a haiku that gently lures the viewer into a dreamlike sense of whimsy and blue serenity—only to pivot, in its final moment, to the quiet but inevitable presence of death. My intent was to create a soft, hypnotic rhythm through sound, pacing, and typographical expressions that soothes and charms the audience. Through soft pacing and soothing visuals, the piece lulls the audience before revealing the terminal irony of death, echoing how beauty can mask deeper truths.

This piece marked a turning point in my motion design journey. I pushed myself to move beyond static composition and embrace more fluid, expressive animation. It was a significant leap from my earlier motion work—both technically and conceptually—allowing me to explore timing, tone, and layered meaning with greater confidence.
